Carolina Wonder Ehrlich
I began practicing an alignment-based style of yoga in 2005. Two years later I found my Sadhana- daily spiritual practice- under the instruction of my first teachers Tim Feldmann and Kino MacGregor. My love of this practice inspired me to travel to Mysore, India to study under R. Sharath Jois at the KPJAYI. After moving to Davis in 2009, I tried other ‘styles’ of yoga, but none fulfilled me. So I decided to commit myself to a daily self-practice and research and learn on my own, while traveling to various workshops throughout California. Presently, I am blessed to have Kory Sheffer from Ashtanga Yoga Napa Valley as my teacher. Under her guidance, I’ve made enormous breakthroughs and discoveries, which I share with my own students. I am inspired to help others develop a consistent and manageable home practice that builds both strength and grace in their own lives. I teach led Ashtanga- inspired classes every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 10:30 am at the Rocknasium’s Yoga Room at 720 Olive Dr. in Davis, CA. I focus on predatory poses and drills that build strength and coordination for the Primary series poses and help develop the jump-throughs and jump-backs. I also teach private clients such as the UC Davis football and men’s water polo teams. You may contact me for private classes.
I am a 200 RYT instructor. I received my power vinyasa training from Zuda Yoga in Sacramento, CA. I’ve been teaching Ashtanga since 2016.
